Have not progressed much in recent times, I need to figure out what to do with my code. I need a code generator for one thing. I also need a loader for classes. That is my current point. However they need to be placed in such a way in that they are not messy at all, can work with the userspace stuff and be able to be used by the kernel as needed. This is the next step for the most part. Perhaps a "binfmt" package which handles class files, then I can have a "codegen" package is capable of generating code and such. For binary formats, I need a format that can just reference a chunk of bytes in memory and reference them as needed. The binfmt stuff will be directly used by the kernel so it will have to have some mechanism to where I can jump into a byte array and start executing it and such. So what describes a binary format? The binary descriptions can be just what follows normal class files than other binaries by other systems such as ELF, PE, and Mach-O. Although it should be possible to permit exporting to other binary formats. Although the only useful export would be my own KBF performed by the in-kernel dynamic recompiler, hairball can just ignore other code anyway since I am designing it in a way where it can be just skipped without consideration.
