DISCLAIMER: These notes are from the defunct k8 project which precedes SquirrelJME. The notes for SquirrelJME start on 2016/02/26! The k8 project was effectively a Java SE 8 operating system and as such all of the notes are in the context of that scope. That project is no longer my goal as SquirrelJME is the spiritual successor to it.

Now to do the split of architecture and dynamic recompiler stuff.

11:49

Splitting this code up should make recompiles much faster as I only have to recompile the dynamic recompiler stuff when supported as needed.

Now I need to add compiler support since support for specific architectures could vary across compiler packages (they could be in more than one).

Ok, so the refactor is complete and the NARF code has been split from the architecture stuff. At least developing the recompiler should be much faster now as less recompiles are needed unless I change PowerPC operations.
