DISCLAIMER: These notes are from the defunct k8 project which precedes SquirrelJME. The notes for SquirrelJME start on 2016/02/26! The k8 project was effectively a Java SE 8 operating system and as such all of the notes are in the context of that scope. That project is no longer my goal as SquirrelJME is the spiritual successor to it.

On this Intel Atom which does the whole run in 3 minutes and 8 seconds. This system is about the same speed as my otherone (just very slightly faster due to smaller technology). However this system has a JIT while the other does not, so that is where most of the speed boost comes from. Re-running after a build from nothing would be slightly better timed to determine how much faster things are in general. In general the translation times are about 2-3 times faster. So in total, the speed gain is not that much. The total time to reach where I am at now (IFEQ not implemented) gives one minute 23 seconds.

Messed up in my blog script by making a horribly named user, going to shun that commit.

Had to do some shunning and delete a few commits, luckily they only contained notes. I also had to rebuild and upload those new builds to my backup locations so the commits I previously made are gone forever. Lots of work.
