DISCLAIMER: These notes are from the defunct k8 project which precedes SquirrelJME. The notes for SquirrelJME start on 2016/02/26! The k8 project was effectively a Java SE 8 operating system and as such all of the notes are in the context of that scope. That project is no longer my goal as SquirrelJME is the spiritual successor to it.

A bit too complex and splayed out, although it has a GUI of sorts. However everything runs a bit slowly. I suppose what I should do in this case now is write my own build time checker thing to see if any files changes, although that will be complex.

Appears that Gradle does not suit my needs, seems I would have to do some major restructuring just to make it happy. Probably stems from the "Every other Java developer does it this way so you must too".

Also seems you cannot do an out of tree build, so you must pollute your source tree and waste SSD cycles.
