DISCLAIMER: These notes are from the defunct k8 project which precedes SquirrelJME. The notes for SquirrelJME start on 2016/02/26! The k8 project was effectively a Java SE 8 operating system and as such all of the notes are in the context of that scope. That project is no longer my goal as SquirrelJME is the spiritual successor to it.

Using Java 8 my byte code translator code just got much much simple because I can use method references for the decoding of opcodes so I do not need a gigantic switch, just a gigantic map.

11:49

In JavaByteOp instead of all of these Vas I can use smarter lambdas to inject the stuff as needed.

12:06

Such a thing would also remove the massive and confusing push/pop null padded tables, which is really confusing to look at manuall and to even read.

15:46

Using secondary tracers will make tracing while tracing work.

20:28

When I wrote the megatile adjacency code I put in the cardinal directions so I really just need NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, and WEST.

21:44

Code looks good, but I get a NullPointerException where a lambda is and it should not be occuring.

21:46

I know why, I expect a return value of boolean but I return null instead so it cannot be cast to a boolean.

22:51

Brute forcing massive spawning at the start locations, just make it crammed full of units.
