DISCLAIMER: These notes are from the defunct k8 project which precedes SquirrelJME. The notes for SquirrelJME start on 2016/02/26! The k8 project was effectively a Java SE 8 operating system and as such all of the notes are in the context of that scope. That project is no longer my goal as SquirrelJME is the spiritual successor to it.

My PowerPC laptop died, so I moved to an x86 one, oh well. Setting this laptop up so there might not be much done change wise.

Mostly just minor compiler stuff.

KEightStandardFileManager shows just how useful TODO exceptions are. The compiler API is really cool though. My rather small javac script can invoke any Java compiler so to speak. However, unless I add more command stuff to it, it will by default use my own, although I do have -Xtryhost which will use the implementation default compiler if there is any. In the event there is none, then I use my own.
