DISCLAIMER: These notes are from the defunct k8 project which precedes SquirrelJME. The notes for SquirrelJME start on 2016/02/26! The k8 project was effectively a Java SE 8 operating system and as such all of the notes are in the context of that scope. That project is no longer my goal as SquirrelJME is the spiritual successor to it.
Perhaps I should make start game do something even if it is incomplete.
The client front end piece is looking much better.
I believe I am going to have players in the game only be controlled by single clients at a time, this simplifies the entire game system although it would then be impossible for two clients to control the same player.
Today was a busy real life day, but it was good.
With current SQ design save games are not possible, but I could always have the save games be actual replays which are then continued where they left off where players inside get new players IDs as such. Well the generation for random maps is based on the initial map seed so after that there will never be nothing really random at all much.
SQ needs a random seed to be set now.
Because the same old seed zero generic test map is rather boring every time it happens.
