DISCLAIMER: These notes are from the defunct k8 project which precedes SquirrelJME. The notes for SquirrelJME start on 2016/02/26! The k8 project was effectively a Java SE 8 operating system and as such all of the notes are in the context of that scope. That project is no longer my goal as SquirrelJME is the spiritual successor to it.

This eventual signature stuff should be better handled with this Form stuff.

16:25

Class can work for signatures because it is an inner class of another class and not one of an outer class.

16:29

Since many of the signature things are partial and very much is inter dependent when it comes to things, I will need simplified and complex things. Perhaps CharBuffers rather than stuff like StringBuilder or special iterators as those can be rewound easily. Something I did not know before is that CharBuffers are CharSequence which means that they are more friendly when it comes to strings, so those could be deemed like an advanced StringBuilder. The CharBuffer can even wrap CharSequence which means I can easily handle stuff like Strings. However the CharBuffer wrap of a CharSequence is read only but that does not matter to me since I do not change input strings.

17:49

Learning of CharBuffer I can optimize usage by using that instead of just using a wrapped StringBuilder for things such as reading Field fragments. I will have to go through all of my sources to see my usages of StringBuilder in the sense of things.

20:22

Well there are Class signatures for classes and then there are ClassType signatures which are used with L;.

22:15

Almost mixed up TypeParameters and TypeArguments.

22:29

Since the cache for FormJavaType and FormSignature uses a WeakHashMap, the code has to be changed around since the input String might not be the string which gets used by the object.

23:59

Now after a bunch of type signature work, I am back to class work. Need to handle the inner classes attribute.
