DISCLAIMER: These notes are from the defunct k8 project which precedes SquirrelJME. The notes for SquirrelJME start on 2016/02/26! The k8 project was effectively a Java SE 8 operating system and as such all of the notes are in the context of that scope. That project is no longer my goal as SquirrelJME is the spiritual successor to it.

Been busy.

09:44

For some reason the decompiler has not been called and now it is building the kernel and the class library.

10:01

Appears that the MergeJar files are a bit missing when it comes to things. Also, my build failed as I accidently ejected a CD-ROM so there must be some kind of timing bug with regards to filesystems.

10:05

Looks like my old profile check is in there when there were merged trees (the filter that exists in KernelBuilder). So that cannot exist because every profile is pretty much built. In fact the include and exclude system is pointless now that everything has been split apart and modularized.

10:56

So back to reworking the decompiler code, need to add in the handling stuff and such. I did most of it, so it is not needed as much.

13:51

I should cover the Java 8 limited license grant of the specification in coded form and such.

15:28

And I have, licenses always take the most time to handle when it comes to programming.

17:12

Need to get back to handling byte codes.
