DISCLAIMER: These notes are from the defunct k8 project which precedes SquirrelJME. The notes for SquirrelJME start on 2016/02/26! The k8 project was effectively a Java SE 8 operating system and as such all of the notes are in the context of that scope. That project is no longer my goal as SquirrelJME is the spiritual successor to it.

It might be best to remove the need for SSAOptimized and instead just use SSAProgram to do such things. SSAOptimized would end up being exactly like SSAProgram except with stuff that could be useful for optimizations and such.

Will need to figure out register allocation and such.

Going to need a better way to handle all of the instructions for CPUs and all of the options that may vary for them. Perhaps a kind of CPU definition thing which is read from a file rather than stored in Java classes as a giant enumeration and such. Or alternatively I can have operation tables which are done with META-HAIRBALL which generates the giant enumeration from the encoded data. Doing it that way will result in it getting more static information rather than dynamic stuff.
