Hopefully using the refactored descriptor and signature code is easier due to the splitting of classes. However there are tons of files now instead of just a handful. However, TypeDescriptor was near 1000 lines and TypeSignature even more.

No deadlocks from what I can tell, and the code seems a bit faster also.

Looking through font formats, since I will be needing them. Metafont looks nice and is defined geometrically rather than outlines and such. I would of course need a metafont editor. One good thing about metafonts is that they are text based rather than binary, which goes well with my repository structure and such. However it might be tied to LaTeX since it might just carry glyphs and such. It might not even have stuff such as kerning.

I might go for just BDFs, easier for me to draw bitmap fonts. As a start I will just draw the first 255 unicode characters.

My air purifier was pushing my ceiling fan, which changed the sound dynamics of my room constantly. So there was a swish swish swish sound as the air bounces off of it at various angles. Ceiling fan is broken anyway, thus I removed the blade. Now said problem no longer exists.
BDFs are kind of ugly and rather require a gigantic single file. What I need is an ASCII format for glyphs stored in single files which is directly referenceable via files for each glyph in a JAR. So the Serif, Sans Serif, and Monospaced fonts will just be a ton of individual files in the repostory. Bitmap is easier to create though, however it is limited. Some kind of simple vectored font would be better. Do not need to go crazy with programming languages, but the font data could just be data encoded as ASCII which provides instructions on how to draw a font. Then these instructions can be kept in individual files which are human readable, sort of. I can actually cheat and use a ASCII coded decimal of sorts. Zero is 0x30 and nine is 0x39. This means I can have absolute positions for the file and encode them as ASCII. I could just grab the lowest bits. At least if I do drawing instructions I can have dynamically sized fonts. However for my framebuffer I will need to draw the fonts into a cache for them to be placed on the screen efficiently.
