DISCLAIMER: These notes are from the defunct k8 project which precedes SquirrelJME. The notes for SquirrelJME start on 2016/02/26! The k8 project was effectively a Java SE 8 operating system and as such all of the notes are in the context of that scope. That project is no longer my goal as SquirrelJME is the spiritual successor to it.

Did not do much today. I wonder with IntelliJ Idea and NetBeans are able to be used with k8. That is if they will not explode due to the "odd" directory structure that k8 uses. We shall see however.

NetBeans does not work out well either.

I should make the single entry a bit better with a common class to make reading/writing a bit easier. This should reduce future duplicate code.

I could abstract the code a bit.

Abstract by for example making it so the header stuff and the structures for each type are easily used in class interfaces.

However, alternatively for reading/writing I can have a sort of sliding window thing. I can either use a view of a ByteBuffer or have a FileChannel absolute read/write setup. Then there will be a basic "plug-in" view of either a ByteBuffer or a FileChannel.
