DISCLAIMER: These notes are from the defunct k8 project which precedes SquirrelJME. The notes for SquirrelJME start on 2016/02/26! The k8 project was effectively a Java SE 8 operating system and as such all of the notes are in the context of that scope. That project is no longer my goal as SquirrelJME is the spiritual successor to it.

Got the vertical grid lines drawing correctly on the first try, joy. However using the dashed lines and scrollbar causes some trouble though so the grid may best be used solid.
13:56
The grid is disconnected however, due to the stopping short.

Just going to go very easy on the tile types, they are either fully walkable or not. This simplifies things and requires less graphical arts to be created.

These simplified tile graphics will definitely reduce the required graphical work.

I can see the light reflecting off the sky turning red and orange, which is rather interesting. This means the sun is setting and night is coming.

Permitting CTRL to be used for right click will make things easier for me since I only have a single mouse button on this laptop.

The most complex thing now when placing tiles is to handle heights. Well the handling of heights is easy, what I mean is recursively handling adjusting all the surrounding tiles and such.
23:23
I suppose 4 heights would be good enough.
