I am going to need an IPC interface so I can call between processes and such. It is going to be needed for inter-MIDlet communication, it will also be used for graphics. It will match the system call stuff and will be in a way where it allows for being used directly by system calls. It will be a useful interface. Also for input events it will determine how things are handled and such. But the thing is there will be a global system for handling the IPC and it could get messages from outside even the graphics interfaces. So I take it that it will operate in two forms: interrupt and polling. I think it would be best if both can be mixed accordingly as such.

The task system call layer will handle IPCs since they all go straight into the kernel and such. The kernel will handle where the IPCs go accordingly.

Now the big thing is that when system calls are done, I use the normal exception register. This is going to break when real system calls are done since there could be a system call that is made. It will pretty much just break when exceptions are thrown since they could originate from a different thread.

I do have an advantage since system call errors are thread local, so I can make a new virtual system call that just sets the exception code for a thread and such, or at least allows it to be obtained. Of course this one cannot have an error if it is not valid, so it must always pass somehow. But since I cannot really handle objects, I think all I can do is store the name of the class that the exception is and that is pretty much it.
