DISCLAIMER: These notes are from the defunct k8 project which precedes SquirrelJME. The notes for SquirrelJME start on 2016/02/26! The k8 project was effectively a Java SE 8 operating system and as such all of the notes are in the context of that scope. That project is no longer my goal as SquirrelJME is the spiritual successor to it.
In mkfossil.sh, using a shorter name of "k8" rather than the default revision and such, produces a ZIP with a space saving of 20K.
After a bit more writing, I believe I have the annotated groupings in a possibly working state for usage. The thing that remains is implementing ArgumentParsing in a neat way to use it, perhaps using iterators for simple for walking over options. Rather than make that an Iterable, it can just be an Iterator (which means no for loop) as that simplifies the operation. Mostly because the command line arguments could be modified during an iteration run so that would have to be supported, for changing that is.
Made a bunch of progress, I cannot use a private inner enum as the argument of a generic, however I may use a protected inner enum.
No more errors are generated, only TODO exceptions are hit which means I must implement things now.
